Is it the lingerie that makes the woman, or the woman who makes the lingerie?
I think it’s a little bit of both. Sometimes the lady who has that je ne sais quoi finds it from within and wears it well, no matter her clothing. Other times, she needs a little help from her favorite under armor.
I’d been lusting after this form body by DTSM from babylikestopony for quite some time before I purchased it. DTSM is short for Don’t Shoot the Messengers, a Berlin-based indie brand that fully captures one of my multiple lingerie personalities. It’s raw, incredibly sexy and transformative. I feel powerful and uninhibited when I wear it — this is lingerie that moves and is designed for a woman who leads an active lifestyle. It feels both luxurious and practical at the same time and is definitely something I’d slip on under a full skirt for an edgy outerwear look.
The straps on the back remind me a bit of a harness or a shibari tie, complementing the back and the shoulders. Mesh paneling on the anterior lengthens the torso… it’s an incredibly flattering piece. I’m already waiting with bated breath for the SS14 collection to go on sale, which incorporates some gorgeous leather pieces. Serious lust.
